Tuesday Night Music Club for GROWN UPS!

Born To Rock is a music immersion program facilitated by The Jim Howell Music Studio where students have the opportunity to be in a real functioning band. Classes and camps are miniature versions of a functioning a rock band with a guide/moderator and "producer" helping in the process. This series has several levels from toddler classes to adult classes! Each class will have small ratios and be limited in enrollment. Class activities involve instrument play, song learning, arranging, song writing, recording, live performance, notation and chart reading and writing, music theory, ear training, and music business!

Meets on Tuesdays: 9/18, 10/2, 10/16, 10/30, 11/6, 11/20, 12/4, & 12/11

An ADULTS ONLY CLASS will gather on eight Tuesdays to learn and practice rock tunes (and even one or two Holiday themed music selections) with the goal to perform them live at the Jim Howell Music Studio Showcase on Saturday 12/15.  Jim and/or studio staff will provide song arrangements and guidance. This class is suggested for beginners and intermediate players who have at least one year experience on their primary instrument. Multi-instrumentalists encouraged!

Bring your axe and picks and/or sticks but amps, cables, mics, a keyboard/piano and a drum set and cymbals and percussion instruments are already here in the studio for you to use!

Participation in the showcase on 12/15 is required for this class.
